I have discovered that this blogging feature exists, and is pretty cool. I have a question though... what is the purpose of the blog?

It could be used for many things. It could be twitter-style communication, it could be status updates on the topic of the conversation, it could be a place for people to surrender their privacy to the giant symbol in the upper-left by spilling their lives... this could be used for many things.

It could be used for asking questions, like I am right now. What's this for?

Blogging functionality has been added to our Club Ubuntu community website! While our site is still under development this is a big step forward.

Members who have logged in should now be able to create, edit, and delete their own blogs. I've added the ability to use Tags as a taxonomy system -- to self-categorize your blog entry -- so that anyone searching for specific content can find what they have in mind.

This is just the beginning of many cool ideas that have come from many different people. I hope everyone takes advantage of the potential that we have brewing here.
